Today, I had my Bridgestone Blizzaks WS-50's put on my Si which I originally had on my 2002 Civic Ex Coupe, which I traded in. What a difference! They arent as smooth, nor as quiet as the stockies, but the car handles so much better now. Corners and changing lanes are now more confident. The car feels much more planted. How is it that a snow tire handles better than an all season? Are the stock Michelin's really that bad? The Blizzaks are even narrower that the stocks, 185 vs. 195. What is it about these tires that they handle so well? I havent been very happy with this car but this helps. Now Im definetly ditching the stocks when spring hits next year. Im thinking Yokohama AVS ES100's. Thoughts?

i have heard nothing but good things about the ES 100's.... awfully expensive arent they? Our stock tires are horrible... Its fairly dry here tonight and i wheelhopped all of first, and then spun through second...
