I was browsing some older threads and posts. And realized how far this site has really come. How big it's gotten. How popular, How technical. I remember sumtime like a year and a half ago i got an email or instant message saying hey click here its a site for us 02si owners till this day i still do not know how they found me but im glad they did. I think i was like the 3rd or 4th person to sign up here at ephatch, for a while there were only a few of us weekly/daily users . I rember how excited i was to talk to people with the same car as i did " sharing storys such as " I hate it when everyone calls my car a focus" and the all so popular " does that shifter feel weird ?" and "is this a new honda mini van ?" yea those times were great more people came. some just for info some for guidence there are alot of very diffrent people on this fourm now. i mean you have typeX the hater extrodenier. you have tripzz the used to b fat kid that wants to get laid. hes also basicly ephatch's little brother. you have bioevolve who is always posting great install pictures and always buying sumthing new each week.you have ssrv6(us_si) that is the pioneer of the turbo ep3.you have tradagey who brings his JDM flava and pictures to the tabel for all of us americans to drewl over. basicly what i am getting at is these are the people who make ephatch the great place it is now. but let us not forget the godfathers of ephatch who created the close and non clubsi style of this site. now my memory isnt the best. but as i can rember here are sum OG ephatchers.. in no special order

there was miamijdm -the pioneer of nitrous on the ep3 and one of the quickest si's still to this day on the board.

there was bioevolve-always trying to beat miamijdm

there was dj quickfingers the photochop king(back in the day when we didnt have springs or bodykits yet this man was making it happen

cleanblacksi02 somewhat hater somewhat helper crazy poster

02TafWhtSi- probly one of the nicest guys on the fourm the first one with HKS hiper exhaust

speed racer- nice guy on almost every post

port- i belive the first swapped ep3

and then there was me haha the kid known for having the worst typing in the fuckin world. and the first one to paint the stock wheels.(in the most ghetto way in the world. Bwhahahahha)

I remember a long while back registering for class at college and all these dudes were inline behind me talking about a *New Si coming out lol...I was all...umm...dudes...i already have that car...then they referred me to this site...there were like two ppl on it...lol...and all those dudes that were behind me in line wishings they had an Ep3...:D ;)

Yeah, thanks to those guys (and many others). My understanding, and knowledge has grown thanks to them. I still remember the times when each section only had like 2 or 3 pages. Damn didn't make the list again :(

Oh cmon, I think I've been here pretty long also. ;) I'm just not a big post whore. Been keeping up with the site since probbaly July of 02 till I got the EP. I registered the day I got my EP.

Oh and that avatar belongs to miamijdm.

Still remmeber the first SoCal ephatch meet at the block, then we cruised on over to the meet in Upland. :)

i've been on the site for quite awhile, but my post count doesn't really show it at all. i guess i'm more of a listener than a talker... i know for a fact there's hardly been any days where i haven't checked the site at least once! i usually read posts on the site many, many times a day.

Anyway, hell yea I remember miamijdm, and his other friend that were planning on turboin' a k24...*sigh* i wonder what happened to them. I've been around for a little....I actually read the site before I got my EP in october and reg'd on this site. Only recently now that I have more time @ my place in college has my post count gone up.

And oh yea, I remember trippz's first post that I read. Something about the countless burn outs and abuse he put his car thru before he even broke it...I think that was my first real flame on this site lol!
