Does it have instructions in the helms manual for correctly resetting the ECU. Some people have been talking about pulling the battery cable, backup fuse, re-attaching both, then starting the engine, and keeping the throttle at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes.

The old way was to do that above but only let it idle for about 5 minutes and then turn the car off. Then start back up for about 10 minutes.

not that it matters. but in ur sig. u have NHB :) it's NBP..

no, the old way consists of that but AFTER you disconnect the negative battery terminal.

That is what I meant...

disconnecting the positive and negative cable, then the fuse, then connecting them back after 5 minutes, then letting the car idle for 5 minutes... Turning it off, then revving it for another 5 to 10 minutes.
