whats up guys i have just purchased a motor and tranny from a wrecked car the motor is in pretty good shape it only has 20k on it...the only problem i have is that the people didn't kno how to take out the motor rite so they cracked the caseing on the tranny anyway...my real question is i'm going to build it for boost and i need to know wat piston & rod combination should i use

just in case turbo is t3/60-1

Isnt the 60-1 turbo one of the options in the cybernation turbo kit?

its prolly useable but id imagen that there would be a good amount of lag. i run a 58mm (850 cfm)and even though ive got a stall converter and ive got nearing twice the cubic inches that yall run i still have more lag that id ever want. i could only imagen how bad it would be with a larger turbo on a smaller engine with out the advantage of brake spooling.

How did they crack the casing on the trany? Drop it? Which engine is it? 9.0 to 1 comp or less for the pistons. Rods- any good set of aftermarket..ie-crowler and eagle. t3/60-1 should be ok for big boost operation. My friend runs a .63 a/r on his teg gsr. Hardly any lag.
