Apexi RSM question / warranty?

Will installing the Apexi RSM Speed Meter void my car

If the problem is related to the RSM then the problem will not be fixed under warrenty. You could use wire taps instead of cutting the wires. I wouldnt worry about it, i just make sure i unclip it and take it outta the car when i'm visiting the dealer.
