what is a midpipe? where can i get one? how much do they generaly cost? any other info would be great..thanx

You need to sift through the search results, there are many posts on this with pics. It got to the point where alot of us got tired of seeing "midpipe" posts.

To answer your question somewhat, it is the pipe that goes from the cat to the resonator. Cost depends more than $50 but less than $100. Alot of folks replaced this pipe with something bigger. Either custom or getting it from e-bay.

I had mine made custom at a local muffler shop, and installed it was about $64. That is crush bent and without a resonator, and it really wakes the motor up above 5k rpm.
