My take on it is. The Progress sway bar/tie bar combo preforms the same function as the Comptech for more than half of the dough. Don't get me wrong, the Comptech is a very nice piece of hardware.

so true...they are the same, imo. I got mine for about 120 shipped :D

Anyway, it works great, but the only thing that is different about the comptech versus the progress or any other 22mm sway, is the design to keep the exhaust from hitting it:

Basically it is adjustable unlike the Progress...right?

Not a big deal to me...getting MagnaFlow (no clearance issue with that muffler) and Progress rear anti-sway soon. :)

Why not just go with a Type S sway if you are concerned with money. I think you can pick them up from the Acura dealer for 60 bucks.

Rsx rear sway bar is 19mm While comptech, progress sway bar is 22mm. Progress sway bar comes with low tie bar too.

The Comptech tie bar costs much more because it's machined from billet aluminum. The Progress one looks like a 3 piece setup on their tiebar and looks like crap IMO. But whatevs, price is the concern from what I've noticed. :D

Exactly the the progress bar looks like a piece of scrap metal between a pastel green colored sway bar? WTF is with that? It's still two hundred bucks, shit I always try and go for the best quality when $ allows.

looks good to me, I need to get a better pic so you can see the diff...not much, just that the bar is kind of inside the tie bar...either way, I think they do the same thing

I've got the Mugen rear sway bar and it is worth every penny. If you are going to upgrade your EP3 save up the cash and do it right!!!

well, since it is 25mm, then it will react better than the 22mm...so I guess that is magic :D
