I haven't put any time into investigating where to put the tranny fluid in. Can you tell me where you put it in at?

I'll start looking online to see if I can find out where you can by it.

on a side note, I've used both Redline and Royal Purple, I prefer the Royal Purple stuff.

I thought about trying the RP synchromax. So I went to their website and used the flow-chart to find the right product for our cars. They recommend the RP 10W30 not the synchromax. Now I'm not sure which one to try. I sent them an email and will let you guys know what their response is.

Their response will be Synchromax.

I know you can't speak on behalf of RP, but do you know why they would recommend the 10W30 on their website...just curious.

I don't have my manual in front of me, but I'd guess that it recommends using either Honda MTF or 10w-30 in a pinch. Perhaps RP is playing safe by quoting manufacturer's recommendations on their site, eventhough they have products that would work better.

You are probably right. Right now I'm using Redline MTF, but I'm not very happy with the results. The manual says Honda MTF is preferred but may use 10W30 or 10W40 with a SG grade. I'll be the guinea pig and try the RP 10W30. I'll post the results in a week or so.

I finally got a response from RP, as someone else stated they recommend the Synchromax and would be updating their website to reflect that.

Synchromax is roughly a straight 30 weight if I remember correctly. The specs should be on their site.
