Hey, I've read sumwhere before from MugenEP that the mugen grill fits perfectly onto our USDM bumper, but I've seen MugenEP's car, and it looks like the grill sticks out a bit more, I know he answered this question before, but i just want to clarify, is it a REAL JDM MUGEN EP3 grill? or a replica, because I'm getting a real one, and from what i remember, MugenEP's grill sticks out more than this:

Mugen_EP has the real Mugen grill and it fits fine. The grill doesnt sit flush on the jdm bumper either..so I guess that just how they made it.:D

hehe..yeh..Im on the same boat also. Got the hood and I should have the grill soon also. We can all be Mugen_EP biters..hehe;)

Why can't it be made to fit flush in the first place?

Mine sticks out about 1/8" on each side. It's the genuine grille, all that really matters is that you get the tape to hold on the bottom and then it will sit as flush as possible(our bumpers flex quite a bit so the sides may not adhere perfectly)I'll take some pics of the gap on mine today.

Still doesn't look like it fits -- it doesn't even look like it's made for our car.

The style rocks, but doggone it, even though it's installed correctly, any passerby would think that it's installed wrong.

It's designed to stick out so that the mugen airbox vent fits right up against it. like the Integra type R air box. I might just be guessing by correct me if i'm wrong Mugen_EP

I dunno, I'm getting mine from www.gtsport.com.hk, they r ordering it from japan, then imma have my friend from HK bring it over.

For fiberglass this thing fits damn good. Anyone who knows the characteristics of hand laid fg know's what I'm saying.

Barrack: This is the design of the grille, maybe you should contact Mugen and ask why they chose this design?
