Confirm.... are the 04's lower?

I went to my dealer today and looked at a silver 04' The finger gap was about a finger lower than my stock si. Is this just because of the 16" 205 55 tires or is it actually lower? sway bar and sideskirts=jealous, other than that lights and wheels are whack.

I remember reading that they are. I still haven't seen one in person :(

They're lower because they have a different suspension, not sure exactly how much lower, maybe just an inch like a pro-kit drop

I thought the only differences to the suspension were a larger rear anti-roll bar and a revised steering rack.

I thought it was just the CTR that got the revised suspension for '04. :confused:

This is an expept on the Euro Civic 2004 Refinements:

"Extensive fine-tuning of the toe control link MacPherson strut / reactive link double wishbone suspension and EPS power steering system for both 3 and 5 door models endow the 2004 Civic with much crisper handling.

All models gain stiffer steering and suspension mounting points, a new variable ratio steering rack, increased steering caster angle

The 04 si, will only be lower if it has the Honda Performance Package ($4500). Even then, I would say the suspension sucks. I've seen pictures of it corning and I see MAJOR body roll.

So how about it? Is the suspension revised for the US EP? When I read about the Euro Civic refinements I think it means the CTR. Am I wrong?

I will keep a look out for the 04 EPs. I will be interested in seeing them in person. I like the new look and improvements, but seriously doubt I will get a 04...my 02 has to many mods now. hehe :)

the 04 is fugly, and WTF is up with that steering wheel?! the altezzzzzzies?! Jesus Honda! Im going to a dealership today after work that has one...let me know what questions you guys want answered and i will make a list...
