It is going for 60 dollars, not sure if Silva is interested or anyone else on ephatch....

The seller DOES say it is for the K20 RSX (NON TYPE S) and with minor mod it will fit the EP!!!

im assuming that if someone is really in the market for this...its more for show...so i think it would be wise if someone did get it...that they use it for car shows only...just my .02 but i could be wrong, who knows it might hold up like gravy!?

So why would the CF hood hold up with the heat so much better? You're talking a matter of maybe 6 inches difference. I'm sure it would hold up to the heat.

I bought used cf intake manifold cover from clubrsx while ago. He had k20a3 base model. That manifold will not fit on ep. Cutting and trimming nice cf piece is not worth your time and money. Ive seen many cf intake manifold cover that made for ep and rsx type s, just go with that.I will post pictures of custom made cf intake manifold cover when i get home. (im at school right now ;0

On my gf hood it got heat damage. mostly because the skeleton underneith sucked so it damaged the clear coat at the top.
CF with clear cant stand alot of heat

I bought this when it first came out and they had it meant for the EP and it looks great, low maintenance, just wipe it with a cloth and its shiny... Just a gimic so i dont know if you should pay $60, i got it for $38.00 some time ago. Just for engine dressing, i would rather spend $60 on something else like gas........

I have one exactly like that and it its fine, I got mine off e-bay for around 60 bucks, at the time it seemed like a good idea but I wouldn't buy another I'd spend it on something more useful.

I got my c/f engine cover @ polepositionproducts.com.Its made by spec one. It didnt fit at first but when i took out the 2 brass spacers on the 2 back studs it fit fine.(spark plug cover i mean)

I own the carbon fiber intake manifold cover. I also bought mine on Ebay for the EP3. Mine fits well and has stood up to the heat fine. Mine would be a good test because I also have a turbo which generates alot of heat. But I think it looks pretty sweet. I want to put the red i-vtec sticker on it from the silver types s manifold cover. Any one know where to get one? I called honda put no luck. BTW, I paid $50.00 for mine. Not bad considering what the Type s covers go for.
