Are there any rims that look like the velox vx8s that do not weigh as much. Ive looked at the rev model 3s but i dont really like their design as compared to velox. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try the konig heliums. the vx8's are modeled after them, and they are about 6 or 7 lbs. lighter, too. i think the 17 weighs somewhere around 14.5-15 lbs.? hope that helps...

vx8's weigh about 21lbs. and they are not modeled after the heliums.

right, i know the vx8s weigh about 21 lbs... i think you misunderstood me. i was talking about the helium being 14-15 lbs... did some research and its 16.8 lbs. i'm pretty sure that they are a replica of the konig helium, unless konig copied them from someone else first...

the volk ce28n's are very similar, forged, and quite light. my 17"x7.5" are 12lbs. big bucks though $400+ per wheel.

sorry about the pic - it's kinda dark (got it from rays website).
