Do I need to cut wheel well for intake?

has anyone installed their AEM intake without having to make any cuts through the plastic liner? The intrustion on the home page doesn't mention it, but on this thread http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2473

i installed mine yest, i had to make a very small cut to allow it, nothing major

I didn't have to make any cuts for my AEM to fit. I pushed the filter up a little higher and tightened it so it didn't rub but no cutting.

I didn't have to cut anything either. In fact, I just worked the plastic parts around the intake so that everything fit snugly. No cutting necessary.

i cut a very small amount of the liner. probably could have made it fit, but i didnt want it sticking out at all
