I saw an ad in my local newspaper for a pair of Silverstar headlights for $15 - $5 mail in rebate at autozone. I asked my dad to get them for me for christmas. He told me that it was a misprint and that he didn't buy them because they would have been $50. I just opened my christmas present from him and he told me the truth - that he made them honor the misprint!

Merry Christmas to everyone

I've gone through both silverstars in less than a year... what gives? you guys burning these out every 6-8 months like me?

part of your problem could come from improper installation. If you touch the bulb when you are installing it the oils from your hands can cause a premature death of the light.

i dont know if u have diy ctr headlights but if any moisture was to hit the bulb when lit, that would cause it to blow. could the filament have been damaged to being dropped? or maybe u just have bad luck because i work for a sylvania distributor and i see percentage of halogens come back doa.
