Im glad you asked...

let's just say i would never, ever ever ever do this mod again. It's simply not worth the time and effort to get them on there!

oh... and no they dont fit perfectly at all. The celica has smaller sized clutch and brake and different radiuses as well. the gas pedal and dead pedal took a bit of cleverness to figure out as well.

but if you have a lot of time on your hands, and like metal shaving splinters in your fingers (i didnt think i had to wear gloves... DOH!) the whole thing should cost about $125 or so.

How do you keep car like your from being stolen? I am just lowered and got wheels and an exhaust and I get tailed by people 1-3 times a week!!! Only happens when I go to towns that are loaded with ricers. :eek:

i get punked out a lot by WRX's and other older Hondas. I dont drive with the decals/graphics on as a daily driver. The decals are coming off this Saturday after a photoshoot.

Also the EP is not a big seller here in Hawaii. I have seen only a handful so far. As far as being stolen, i think everyone is still concentrating on Integras and Camrys. many people in hawaii dont know the difference between jdm civic and usdm civic bumpers, headlights, tails etc... no one really cares about the ep3 here. i do get lots of dirty looks and stares and a lot of mouths dropping when i drive daily though...

ditto on the questions. I think about three or four have it now...so far people like it from what I've seen in the boost forum..there was a small period where people were having problems with the kit throwing cels and running rich..but it ended up just being a simple solution with the e-management. I also was curious about hondata coming out with a boost flash..they did for the rev hard kit...so I'm confused as to how much different it could be for this kit..I know the actual turbo is different...another thing I like about this kit is the fact that you don't have to drill into the oil pan, it's all bolt on..very nice, imo, in case you need to go back to stock.

I love pretty much everything about the kit. It's a easy install with regular tools. It spools up very quickly and if you get the intercooler you will be pinned in your seat.

The only problems I had was with the emanage unit and a new set of spark plugs... but those 2 things were fixed.

Greddy quality is evident in everything in the kit. the hoses, heat wrap, manifold, piping were all top notch. beautiful right out of the box.

It's Zaino Bros.
I also used a pro glaze after pre cleaning the paint. Then apply Zaino Bros in the 3 step process. Zaino is expensive but worth it to me.

it's pouring rain here and the car is a mess right now... i have a photo shoot to go to tomorrow so i hope it clears up!

It was custom fabricated in Japan by a leading JDM exhaust company. The can has a 2.5" inlet, a seperate titanium resonator and a flex pipe (that is pretty chewed up on the bottom from scraping speedbumps) :(
2.5" piping all around. I have the test pipe ready to go in but im still doing some greddy emanage testing before it goes in. Don't want any extra CEL lights.....

actually the car doesn't sit all that low with the 18" Volks... for some reason the mid section of the exhaust is really low. I used to scrape all over the place with the stock 16" wheels. Not to mention that Hawaii has some pretty stupid speedbumps...

I wish I had $$$ for some 16" rims for the track but thats the only place i would use them... if not id be picking up my front end somewhere on the road!

Well heres the deal...
If you get the right size tires you will be fine! I got a tire that was one size too big so I rub just a tad and had to roll my fenders in the rear. Other than that they are pretty awesome. My car feels almost stock on the rims and the TEIN's.

It was a bitch to put those blue racing lines on the lip though... took me 4 days. (I was lazy... i did one rim a day)

I do believe they come in 17" now...

The front is by Autoblaze. I don't think they make these anymore. It's an authentic JDM piece that a friend had in his garage for years. Didn't want it so he gave it to me.

I used to think that spending on my car was nuts and kinda felt dumb for doing it... I guess I just decided that I wanted to do this car the right way and make myself happy.

Someone asked me the other day how much I spent on the car. I couldn't answer them because I didn't really think about it when I was building it.

The actual goal was just to make myself happy... now I kinda wanna get other people in Hawaii interested in the EP so im not so alone with my Celica and Hachi friends. hehe :)

The really nice ones are the VolkRacing Extended open ended lugs that they use on the race track in Japan. Those are the ones i had on for the car show. They are almost impossible to get. They are open ended, and only come in black and have Volk Racking engraved in them on the sides.

Ive seen them on ebay for $200 +!!!

I think i answered most of this already but here we go...

1) Couldn't get Buddy Club hood.. got the SS Monster instead.

2) You need to rewire a different socket for the brake light because it will not fit properly in the JDM tail socket.

3) Exhaust was custom made in Japan by a very large exhaust OEM. Exhaust is Full titanium with a Titanium Resonator and flex pipe. The can weighed less than 2 lbs.

4) The Honda Emblem was quite common as an aftermarket piece in the early 90's. That was when Japan was heavily into the Euro tinting phase and all sorts of JDM stuff had tint on it from tails to corner lamps. The emblem is black chrome and is quite pricey if you can find it. It's made of metal not plastic like most emblems. The tricky part was bending it to fit on the back of the EP3's trunk. Talk about sweating!

Hmmm.. I really wish I was in Japan when my friend picked it up. I believe he picked it up at a shop that had it custom made. He was originally going to use it for his car but ended up selling it so I picked it up. I will pick his brain and see if he remembers. The exhaust was sooooo light weight i couldn't pass it up...

I am going to replace the front bumper but I'll keep it a secret until it comes in... :)

Yeah the lights at the auditorium make the paint look even more glossy than it is.

as for future plans... not much... maybe work on the interior now. Ep_nezay and Type X have a kick ass red interior now with thier red carpet and door panels.

It's actually NOS (New Old Stock) from the mid 90's. JDM tow hook from autoblaze. I'll probably sell it when my new front end gets here this week. It probably wont fit and I have a J's Racing front tow hook I want to use anyways.
