Figured before the K20A2 goes in the car, it would be a good idea to do a clutch being that I have no idea what condition the stock unit is in...and it's almost no work to do the clutch while out of the car.

So....

I ordered a ClutchMasters Stage III kit today ($530)...
It will be in tomorrow, just in time, swap starts tomorrow...

Anyone using this clutch?

Looking for some feedback.

I had this clutch in my 96' EX (B16A2 + Turbo) and it held great, but I searched and couldn't find much info about this clutch in the K-series. Found a little info on clubRSX but I'm hoping someone here has some info for me.

I am not a fan of lightened flywheels.
Especially since I plan on going FI by summer.

I have CM's stage 3 and their flywheel. I wouldn't go with any other clutch manufacturer.

Nice!
Yea I had good luck w/ the CM in my old turbo bseries civic and loved it.
I got scared though cuz on clubRSX i started this same thread and one guy said it started slipping after a month.
Turns out he was running a turbo @ 10psi + slicks....
NO WONDER!
Dummy should be using a stage 4+.

For the amount of power you will have with your new set-up a stage 3 should be fine. It releases right off the floor, so you should have that adjusted to avoid missing gears.

I had a stage 1 clutch masters in my prelude and I hated it. I know it was only a stage 1 but it was horriable. The best clutch set up I have ever used was ACT. Those clutches work great! If I replace mine that is the one I will buy.

Stage 1 is a factory replacement.
Of course it sucks.

well with a stage 3 at least youll never have to worry about the clutch burning up and youll never need to get a gym membership cuz your left leg will be the size of a fucken tree trunk after only a couple a weeks!!! lol....

How do you adjust a hydraulic clutch?

I had Nu Image adjust mine yesterday, so I don't know how to do it. The shop you got the clutch install should be able to do it for you.

i was under the impression that a hydraulic transmission could not be adjusted.

It feels a whole lot better! As time went by my clutch started releasing closer and closer to the floor, so it was harder to get it in gear. Now there are no problems.
