I know 02silverhb made a thread already about a carbon fiber Type-R wing on www.4caroption.com . I was looking on their site for the wing and they now have pictures of the wing on a car. The car looks like Jackson Racing

DO IT!!!!!!!!! im sure it will turn out good. If its not for USDM then all you have to do is shave it, its not hard really.

Heheh...IBTM stands for "In Before The Move." I saw that it was in the suspension forum and knew somebody would move it..and here it is moved to Aerodynamics. :D

i called them yesterday before i went to work and they said they were out of stock onthese and the buddy club replicaa hoods.they said they could get the hood,but they couldn't let me know anything on the wing because it was a new product.

Iemailed them a few days ago . . . I asked them about fitment and about the red and blue carbon fiber wings. Whoever replied seemed a bit confused:confused:

Here is the response:

Daniel,

The Rear spoiler has been modified and will fit on the US version EP
without
any modification. No kit is come prepainted.

They did not even respond the red/blue carbon fiber questions.:yellm:

Regardless, I also called and they had no info as to when the wings may be in:'(

I am planning on gettin it asap.

even if you have to modify it, it take like 2 seconds to do that.

Would you want to sit there and modify 10,000 wings with sand paper? Sounds pretyy boring to me. Maybe thats why.

Takes while to modify spoiler , If you have crappy drill.
It's easy to do but time consuming.

A drill? I thought all you had to do was sand down a bump on the side of the wing that touches the top of the hatch?

Okay, it take me about 5 minutes top. Civicvtec1ps may have had problems if he didn't have a dremel, I think dremels help things a lot.

I used a dremel and cutting piece...I took this are out of the silver CTR wing, as well as the Mugen wing...the mugen wing in this pic isn't modified yet

I don't need to keep cutting, it only has to be done once. Have fun finding one that fits exactly flush...you won't find one, they all do an exact replica of the ctr one, or close to it, therefore it won't sit flush against the glass. lol
