Turbo Tuning Question

Just wondering, is there a way to tune a turbo where you can sacrifice some hp for torque?

since horsepower is a function of torque and rpm. You can't just give up torque for more horsepower at a given rpm.

So assuming you meant, you want more low end power at the expensive of top end power. The answer is Yes. You can get a small turbo that will flow more cfm's at lower rpms, but will "run out of steam" at higher rpms.
