I hope that chick in the first pic isn't drag racing that thing. Who's stupid enough to drag a Civic with 18s?

The 2nd one is tight tho...

I like the blacked out car. While the rims are crap, I like the look. (The headlights however should have had just the surrounds painted, not the lens.)

the first car is okay but the second car is fucken badass. I am getting wilwood's installed in about a week with red calipers im also going to power coat my rims black probly and get some coilovers to get my car a couple inches lower. And with in the same time period i should be getting my DC or Comptech header. I really want my carbon fiber hood but performance is always first for me.

How am i going to afford this?
i will be taking some of my stocks out because every time i look at them they are lower then befor in the last 2 months i have lost 2 grand i have like 8 grand left i am taking out 4. 2 will be spent on my car and the other 2 will be left alone for bills and what not.

SpeedRacer

I dont think so i will be going all motor. and smokin those biatches with thare juice.

and maybe maybe maybe if my compression isn't to high after building my head i will throw in a Super Charger but that is a year or two away.

FYI-
I talked to the guy that was driving the Type-r/Si. The list of mods include the following.
Five lug conversion off RSX
Advan wheels with Parada spec 2 tires.
Type R headlights/ real, called smoked chrome. Not black like I thought they were
Full type r body kit- I asked him about the fit- The front bumper doesn't stick out as far so they actually had to shave part of the metal reinforcments for the bumper. The rear bumper bolts on, so do the side skirts. The rear wing had to be modified to fit.
Engine stuff includes prototype- DC sports header, intake, full catback. ( I talked to the DC sports rep there and he said a full catback would be available for our cars in the coming couple of weeks! ). Thanks for reading. :D

This is due to the DOT and crash testing. There's probably a larger bumper support/rebar and it needs to be trimmed or replaces wit the Euro/Jap piece. Personally, I'd replace it for the best fit.

Looks good though.

How did he get rid of the front and rear side markers on his car, or are they just painted black???

There are no side markers in Europe/Japan. The entire front and rear bumpers were replaced.

I'm aware of the fact that the Euro/Japan Civic's have different bumper covers. I guess I misunderstood that they did indeed replace the bumper covers.

ssvr6

They'd have to in order to get everything to fit correctly. (Lower valance wise.)

I beg to differ. ONLY the JDM CTR is without sidemarkers.

On a different note, if that Yokohama Civic is not really an R, then somebody spent a lot of money to fake it. From the the bodykit to the bumpers and more importantly, the 5-lug conversion! That's too much money to spend on an Si.

I beg to differ. ONLY the JDM CTR is without sidemarkers. So are you saying that you think the EuroCTR has side-markers?

From the pics I've seen on the internet, both are missing the side markers.

(I'm not talking about the side indicators.)

Yes, the Euro CTR has sidemarkers. However, ONLY the American Si has both sidemarkers and bumper signals.

Oh, sounds like you are referring to the bumper signals...
