Do you mean H E L L 0! I'm an American neon all souped up. Not a step in the right direction in my opinion.

eh its not for everyone, but try to look at things this way...it might just be a neon, but an EVO is just a Lancer and an STI is just an impreza

All of us EP'ers will pray for your SRT to last at least 100k before taking a dump :D Good luck with your new ride ;)

Nice car, nice color choice. One of my friends is waiting for the 05 SRT4's to buy one...patiently saving you know? Then again he has plently to play with as it is now...His 98 R/T is nothing to laugh at. Looks stock but last time he ran (before extrud honed (sp?) manifold and some other goodies) he hit the 1/4 in 14.9 NA

When I pass you on the road in like 20,000 miles don't bother asking for a ride.:D

Yeah, we'll have to see about the reliability of the SRT in the long run...but my friend's all motor R/T has more than 90k on it right now. :D
Then again, he has treated his car real nice.
Another friend with a 4 Door R/T has had more things break than a set of antique china.
Turbo...it's a whole different ballgame.
We'll just have to wait and see.

But reliabilty aside, you can't beat the power/price ratio.
Now, coolness factor...the EP owns of course

i wouldn't really say an evo is JUST a lancer. it is an AWD beast, nothing like the lancer. and the STI is a beefed up wrx. sure it can be an impreza, but imprezas are tite too. your car on the other hand is a whole nother monster. keep visiting ephatch biatch.

I just want to see if the paint falls off like the neons in the past did.

Yeah that happened to my friend's 96 base model, but when he got the R/T it was a 98 and no problems. The other 98 R/T four door didn't have any paint problems either. I think they said it was fixed after 96?

well as far as reliability goes, u can bet ill have another car before 100k so im not too worried about that whole deal.

You already got something in mind for your next purchase? It doesn't take some people too long to get to 100K...it'd take me close to 7yrs...haha!

Now here is an example of a guy that is confident with his purchase.

if he wanted reliability, he would have kept the si, but he didn't. he wanted power, which the si is lacking. i'd say he is confident with his purchase.
