$449.00, I asked him if there was like a two for one deal since I was getting both hood and wing. So price might be different seperate, or it is the same.

They said you could cut it out, after looking at it. Don't think it is a good idea.

Nice hood indeed. I always wanted a carbon fiber hood, on my silver ep. Girl friend wouldn't let. After seeing it in yours, I guess carbon and silver ain't cutting it for me.

Quick question, how is the latch strengh? I just ordered one of these, and i do alot of highway driving. I keep hearing i should get hood pins because the hood may pop up while driving. Anyone have any problems with that yet?

I wondered this as well before installing. Before I put this hood on, I would have to drop the hood for the latch to lock. I didn't understand this before since I have seen other owners simply push on there hoods. So when I put on the new one, it wouldn't lock in. So even though I didn't think it was a good idea, a droped the hood. Still wouldn't lock, I was starting to get pissed. Then I relized that if I loosen the bolts on the latch device and move it as up as I can. It will lock in place, and I twisted the bump stops so they would be a little higher. Through all that the latch held up, seems to be one there pretty good. We had a thread a while back that asked if we should use the hood pins for safety reasons. I believe there stand on this is they recommened having the hood pins, and you can get it from them. This hood fits well enough that I don't worry, there are folks who roll without the hood pins. Yet it is a good idea to have them just in case. So if you would get them they are not that expensive at all. I just don't like drilling two holes in the hood.

Not sure, but you can tell the difference. The CF hood can be easily held with one hand, while the OEM hood needed both of mine.
