Stupid Floor Mat Question

Should my 03 Si have had floormats in it when I bought it. I thought when I test drove it, that it had the nice Civic Si floormats in it. I thought about it for a week, and went and bought the car. When I got it home I noticed it didnt have floor mats in it. Should have noticed when I got in the car, but I suppose the excitement of my first new car was too much and I didnt notice. I cant be 100% certain they were in the car when I test drove it, but I am pretty sure they were.

yes, they should have come with it... the dealer will always say that they are extra but unless you specified to take them out, they should be there! go back to that dealer ship and say WTF MATE ^^

you could also check your sticker and see if they were included ;)

Actually they are not included but most of the time you can get them to throw em in for ya.

yea thats what i thought for the longest time and i went back to the dealer and gave me all this giberish and so i just went and got a set from price club.....lol

Mine threw them in there for me....

These things are crappy quality though, the Civic Si iron-on job is coming off more and more as the days go by. Driver side only though, I don't let too many experience the ride of the "Angry Hampster";)

'02 and '03 Civic Si's do not come with floor mats from the factory. It is an accessory item.

'04 Civic Si's DO come with floor mats from the factory.

My salesman tried to be all nice and gave me free floormats. After reading on this board for a while i now know why he gave them to me for free. They didnt come with the little hooks :(

after i get home i notice i call them up

they say CIVIC SI
he was like "oh"
and i had to wait 2 weeks for the si ones to come in

they tried to tell me that the ex ones were the right ones i was like dude

everything is extra at honda but dont pay honda prices try ebay and get them for $20 to $40 less

Brenetics- you say you have an iron on SI logo? My Honda floormats have the civicSi enbroidered on to the mats.

My 02 bought in 03 didn't get come with them but got so much off the car didn't care. Got mine from www.ahmotor.com, they're cool.

I too thought that mine were stitched but after a years worth of heel and toeing the Civic Si "embroidery" is detaching itself from the floormat. That's as a whole and not just stiching.

Yeah, I just got an 04 and it does come with mats, says so on the sticker. WHen I bought mine last friday it didn't have the mats in it so I'm waiting for them to come in. Hope it doesn't take too long. I'm using Wal-mart specials right now.:D
