I had a 94 Si before my 02 ep. I loved that car! I only got rid of it because the engine was burning oil and the tranny was going.
I am glad to have my ep I love this car even more than the lude.

yeah the lude definately gets annoying sometimes with all the trouble with maintenance...the ep's much better :D nothing beats a new ride, since there's nothing to worry about

How are you liking the '04? There are mixed opinions on it, but I'm curious on what your opinion is now that you own one as opposed to the '02-'03 models.

There are some nice new features from the 04', such as the standard 5 lug, 16' wheels and factory sideskirts...i know many people prefer the old wheels but it's nice to have 16's stock and 5 lug is something i have never seen in a usdm civic :D but besides that, the ride is great, the power is decent, although it'd be alot better if it was a type s engine :) and also the black housing lights are standard, in my opinion, honda has done some decent upgrades so we, the aftermarket enthusiasts won't have to spend more money modding our cars and could concentrate on other areas of the ride. I'm very happy with my car, maybe it's just a new car feeling...i've just bought some tein s tech springs from showstoppers and hopefully could get them installed by next saturday...for me, my ep will mainly be a "show" type of car opposed to "street" or "race", since it's such a new car i don't wanna mess with the engine modifications too much, but i will add i/h/e once i get the chance to..but for now, i'm concentrated on the exterior, hopefully my next mod after the lowering will be the Rota Circut 8's in brozne and the CTR front lip :D

When you get a good list of mods going on and the look of the car is changed, such as you were saying with the CTR Body Kit, I'd like to see some pictures of it. I'm sure once people see the new '04 with a few mods on it they'll change their minds about it.

I really like the new headlight look. Totally calling for HID. When I went to go see it though there was one thing that stuck out to me about the headlights: they bubble out slightly. This was probably for aero-dynamics but if they left them flat and made it HID, I think it would have been my next mod ;)

I've thought about keeping my car as a show car too, rather then going out and beating it up some. Having a show car would totaly work for my color too, rare and flashy. What more could you ask for? But then my buddies in their Blue Si and the other's yellow S2k were just begging me not to be too protective with her, so now I'm more geared for go-fast rather then a look.

I have a few planned "looks" mods but nothing where it would be a totally new look. Such as the Buddy Club Kit. Its hard not to be a fan of the Mugen and CTR body styles though. So later I'l probably give in and get a new hood and some side skirts and, well if i kept writing "and" I'd never stop.

LoL I look foward to the pics! Best of luck too! And if you'd like some advice on the engine mods ask away if you'd like!

yeah, hot import nights will be coming on April in the bay area, where i live, so i plan on finishing at least a few decent mods so maybe i could enter my car in the show :) I just ordered Tein S Tech springs and my very next mod is the Circut 10's in bronze ( mugen MF10 replica) and hopefully by April i'll also have a sound system, ctr lip and an in dash dvd player..
