Can you put the 02 Civic Type R headlamps on the new 2004 Si? I'm intrested to know cause the new headlights are fugly.

the bumpers look the same, but the new headlights just stick out way too far. im sure they will fit, however, i was just double checking

I have heard that the 02-03 lights will not work with the 04 model. Something with the new shape of the rear of light, I thought I read on a post but I can not find it.

I went to Honda and the parts people told me the 04 Si headlight will NOT fit the 02-03 Si.

the front and rear tail lights cannot be swapped...the front head lights are shaped somewhat different and the bulbs are in different places...the rears are slightly larger. if you go to a honda dealer ship and park your car next to one you will see what i mean.

all you'd probably need is to convert the wiring harness from the one you have to the one you need...

GLW - Thank you! You are correct. Honda DID not change all the body panels. I was looking at what it would take to swap in '03 tails and yes, the sockets for the bulbs in the rear are different too. I'm trying to figure out if I can get swap the last portion of the harness, or just repin the sockets to work. Shouldn't be impossible at all. Same with the headlights as you mentioned.

Just thought I'd let you know that some UK CTR owners have put the 04 rear lights on 02-03 CTR's and they fit the same, the only difference is you need a bulb holder for the reverse light.
