im thinking about getting rims this summer. the rims that i got my eyes on are these SSR rims (http://www.tirerack.com/servlet/CallJsp?target=wheelSearchCloseUp&initialPartNumber=TC6742BAML&sizeIndex=3&wheelIndex=64&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Civic%20Si%20Hatchback&autoYear=2003&autoModClar=&showRear=null)
http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/ssr/swap/ssr_competition_ci3_l.jpg

my main questions are 1. does anyone have these rims? if so can i get a pic on a NHBP Si? and 2. would 16x7.5 be to wide or should i stick to 16x7?

16x7.5 in a +40 to +35 offset would be ideal.

with a +35 offset, you'll have to roll the rear fender to get them to fit, but it's worth it.

I have 15x7 with 225/50/15 tires in a +37 offset. My rear fenders had to be modified, but not the front. I'm hoping to go to an 8" wide rim before too long.

Like Todd00 posted on the other "board"...

He had 16x7.5s with an Azenis sized 215/45 and they fit perfect, without any rubbing, and he was dropped pretty low.

They're silver, but the right size and on the right color car, but here (http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=21069&highlight=tein) are the wheels I bought (and haven't put on yet).

Excellent choice. Definitely go wider - you get a larger contact patch.

Todd00 goes by 'tkm' here, and on K-series. He's not a very active member, since his main ride is an ITR, and BTW, he might still be trying to sell those wheels/tires in that picture along with his Tein Flex's.

Search around the classifieds here and on honda-tech.

Very nice rim choice, but i heard that they bend very easily. There was a post about them before http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=20215&highlight=SSR%2A+Wheels.
