I was on GroupBuyCenter.com and saw Hayame full coilovers for $650 shipped. That is a good deal and I am in need of a good suspension setup. Now it does not say it will fit '02+ Si but does list '01-'03 civic and 02+ RSX. Will either of these fit our cars ???????

Here's the link http://groupbuycenter.com/buy.aspx?id=13541

And a pic:

Not sure, but that's a damn good price. If anyone knows if they'll fit please let us know.

Well if it's just for the EM2 Civics then the spring rate will be off again. I'm not too sure about the RSX ones.

Isn't the only difference between our suspension and an RSX's is that it has 5 lugs per wheel instead of 4?

well if you check the item numbers, ground controls and teins are the same for our cars and the 01-03 civics...

Does anyone know the answer to this mysterious question? I tried the search and didn't find much.

Most of members has tein s tech springs that are made for 01-03 civics. Tein makes basic and flex for ep3. SS is only for 01-03 civics. Tein ss that are made for 01-03 civics does fit on ep3. So I dont see why hayame fullcoilovers wouldnt work. All you have to do is make bigger front camber bolt holes.

If that's all that needs to be done then I will probably get these once I get my tax return. How much larger would the front camber bolt hole need to be ? A pic would be nice if anyone has one.

2mm differences. .
01-02 7thgen civics uses 14mm 03 civic uses 16mm
EP3 uses 16mm front camber bolt.
I dont have any specific informations about hayame though.
Just email them for more infos.

here's a list of tein basics w/ part numbers from apex motorsports (click me) (http://www.apexr1.com/index.html)

Model:
Accord 90-97 DSA16-LUSS2
Accord 98-02 DSH94-LUSS2
Civic/CRX 89-91 DSA36-LUSS2
Civic 92-95 DSA00-LUSS2
Del Sol 93-97 DSA00-LUSS2
Civic 96-00 DSH98-LUSS2
Civic 01+ DSA22-LUSS2
Civic Si 03+ DSA22-LUSS2
Prelude 92-97+ DSH92-LUSS2

it says the same at teins home page (click me) (http://www.tein.com/badamp.html)

i remember our strut setup arent that different from the regular 01+ civics (at least with aftermarket parts). they should work fine. but then again... tanabe has a coilover for our car, but not the 01+ civics... its up to you if you wanna try it or not.

YES THEY WILL FIT, You can buy em from mookeh http://www.mookeeh.com/FRONT.HTM

RSX ones are at the bottom, and also they are on ebay too!

They have shocks made by Koni, i saw it on some other website.

i believe they would be a good lower cost system. I am going to buy them this sommer! I am not going to spend 1000+ on Tein or Apexi or HKS or sumthing for which you just pay fot the name...I know Tein has the EDFC;)

teins of corse... you cant beat the feel of teins with any suspension out there... after you roll on teins, everything else feels like trash. stocks feel nice, but only when your cars stock too, only stocks arent as performance based as teins are.
