Hey man...if you do a search you can find a lot of info...but to help you out...most of the guys on here seem to like it once they get it and have posted their positive experiences with Hondata. However, the gain from Hondata on the EP is somewhat less than that of the DC5...just to let you know. Some of us are still a little leary of reliabilty isuses in the future...but overall, I think if I had the money, I would go for it. :D

Well man...you're like me then...weary of the long term effects and stuff. So then, just save your money. Wait a year or so...see how everyone's Hondata'd cars are doing then. I mean, yeah Hondata has a reputation for great products and great reliabilty but you never know right? Or hey...you could always spend money on suspension mods for now...hehe! :D

the last thing you should be worried about is reliability....

you sohuld be more worried about whether or not you want to apply that 600 bucks to an a2 swap or not

With my Hondata I can beat a Type S by 2 cars.

dude. take a look at this. then order it ASAP

ive had it in for about 4 thousand miles. i redline it daily, and i drive many hours a day, totalling about 600 miles a week.
nothing has broken on mine, the exra revs really open the car up, and it definately feels smoother under acceleration.

but u gotta remember... if its a type S that's willing to race you, best bet is that its not stock. i doubt hondata ep can take a modded typs S. and if the type S has hondata, you'll see its tails the whole way

Not that you were talking to me...but just to say this:
I would have bought an RSX-S if I could have afforded it. For the most part the deals I found on rsx-s' were like $23.5K OTD. I got my Si for $17.9K OTD...that is a big difference to me. So, I went with the Si...and in a few years...maybe a swap, maybe not. We'll see. But right now, I know that I couldn't have, and alot of us couldn't have afforded the type s.

For those who may not know, OTD is Out The Door which is the price of the car + tax, title, and license.
