View Full Version : Squeaking Noise When Letting Off Of The Gas Pedal

Started about 2 weeks ago, but it basically sounds like a little mouse is being squeezed everytime I let off the gas pedal. The sound doesn't appear to be getting any worse, nor has it affected the drivability of the car or the performance of the accelerator. I just find this a bit odd.

Anyone else having this happen or know anything about waht it might be?

Thanks in advance fellas.

I've noticed something similar but it doesn't sound like a mouse squeaking. I think its coming from my K&N Typhoon, I think I need to recharge my filter.

How often are you suppose to do that anyway?

I gots this too. My shifter squeaks the same way on hard throws. I think some silicone lube spray might fix it. I've been meaning too do that.

haha, guys, if its the same problem i had, all you have to do is get down there and smear some lithium grease in the spring lookin part. (basically, the only place that it COULD be squeeking from)

I got it too. I drain it out with my loud music or my loud engine.

No speaking noise from my gas pedal. Of course, it never comes off the floor. ;) :D

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if a little bit of grease fixed it completely.
