I think Paypal now has a thirty-day period where you can claim fraud and get your money back. but dont hold me to that..

Those that paid with paypal should have an email that says who recieved it, do some research, Im sure you can find more info on this, wether the credit card co. or just plain search engines.

Your right, for those of you who paid paypal. Log on to there site, go to the help section. They will give you a list of stuff, pick one. Then send them an email of the problem. It takes them like two weeks to send him any money. They do have a 30 day thing, don't know to much about that. Ask them in the email, they respond quickly. Usually same day. That is why I got on here at 5.38am. Cause I remembered that you can do this, and I couldn't sleep.

Damn, yall should settle down. I already contacted Ti about his wheels. Just so everyone knows my car was totalled by a Chevy 2500 Cargo Van on Monday. U can check it out at the WildWood Towing. The wheels and hood were in the back of my car and i am not allowed to get them out, until i show a police report and my insurance. I was also arrested on driving on a suspended liscense and a few other things. Thats why i was not able to speak with anyone or post. hey guys sorry i have been gone all day to the auto expo anyways i finely talked to chris and i also spent most of the afternoon with wildwood servce and the car is there the rims are still on the car and the hood i dont know if they got damaged but anyways i talked to chris and his older brother who i guess is who he is living with now and most of the storie is true from what i gather form talking with the tow truck company they said that i will get my stuff and i am with who ever said give him some slack and give it a week i mean he is not as stupied as we are making him out to be he has giving us his cell number and i will give him a week because his car is wrecked i think that we have worked it out so lets a take it EZ for a week and than if nothing happens it will get delt with my dads a cop "sad to say it sure has not helped me i have have my licence taken away three times now" any who if this all works out like chris and his brother say it will i kinda feel bad for the kid his car is wrecked so we know thats not bull shit why he posted on the other sight and not answer i dont know but if what he says is true i think that we need to cut some slack so we will see what happens and thanks again for all of your help

no, there is no damage to the wheels. And here is the story of my accident. I was stopped at a red light heading south on Rt.45. The light went green and started to go as i got halfway threw the intersection a guy in a cargo van tried to make a green left arrow coming from the opposite way. He made it but not before hitting my car. We both got our info and the police came. They ran my info and i came back suspended which i did not know about, since my mail has not been changed to my new place. Then he got me for not having proof of insurance and expired plates. The jail part came because it was my second time in 1 year driving on a suspended. It wasnt a long time but i was there. I didnt even knew where my car was until a few days ago, since it was on the police report and they sent it to me in the mail. Anything else?

Neither have I... I've also never heard of a cop waiting to complete a police report because of not having your insurance card either. To the cops...either you have the insurance card or you don't. Otherwise you wait until the court date to prove you had insurance.

Well, i never thought u could either. But after having 32 violations which i never payed for. And this was my SECOND time being arrested THIS YEAR for driving on a suspended liscense. After my first time i was given a $500 fine and 2 yr supervision. Which was broke in 1 month, and then it was suspended for 1 year after getting 2 more moving violations. 1 for no front plate and the other for speeding. So i can kinda see after how many i have had over the last 4 years why. I havnt seen my actually liscense in 4 years. I bet that thing has so many staples through by now..lol.

I just saw this thread, went throught the whole thing, and had to respond. Until you have the parts in hand, I'm calling this whole deal bullshit. You may get your money back, if you're lucky, but I wouldn't plan on ever seeing the parts. Here's my experience:

A few months back there was member here who was selling an item. I sent him the money paypal the same day I told him I would buy said item. Before the money was sent, he was responding to messages and posts. Once the money had been sent, he stopped responding. About a week had passed, and I finally told him to just give me back my money. He responds that day saying that he's been busy and item would be shipped in a few days. I never receive item, tracking number, nothing. After a month, several emails, pms, etc. and no response, I filed a report with the FBI's internet fraud department. After doing so, I emailed the seller to inform him of what had been done. BAM! He responds almost immediately with a story of how his car had been towed, and he couldn't get the part. Starting to sound familiar, huh? So, now he's saying the item would be shipped out the following day, but the next day I get a message saying that he won't be able to ship until the following week. In hopes that I would soon get my part, I agreed that would be okay. Middle of the following week comes when my item should be arriving any day now, and what's that sitting in my email inbox? A paypal refund. No explanation was given, just a 'sorry about all this'.

Now, I'm thankful that I received my money back, but the whole ordeal was unnecesary. The seller wasted my time and efforts trying to find out what was going on. If you're going to sell something to someone, have it ready to go. I understand that sometimes situations are out of your control, but when you're posting on other websites or clearly checking your messages and not responding, then it definitely looks shady. It makes it look like you are not trying to resolve the transaction in any way. If you can't get the item, or it's going to be a while before you do, then the money should be refunded, and should never be taken in the first place. I lucked out in my situation, but it has made me think twice before buying on a forum again.

Lastly, like I said, I wouldn't consider this resolved until you have the products in your hands. People who like to be cons and play games will do it as long as you let them. Good Luck.

Belive it or not in IL you can buy a car with a suspended license. I think when he had his license suspened he still had his license in hand so the dealship would not know if it was or not since in IL the dealships do not have to check for this. I was just hearing on the news that IL is thinking of making it a law though for the dealerships to check this before selling a car.

I said i havnt seen my ACTUAL liscense in 4 years. I have only had my liscense suspended twice and that was april 03 and from Dec20 2003 to Dec.20 2004. I was arrested during both of those times. And went i leased my SI from Honda, they copied a ticket i had and the car isnt in my name...only part of it.

I know he had it taken away when I was out with him and some of his crew the one night he got pulled over. I think that was the first time he got caught on a suspended lisence. That night too they took him to Jail for driving one a suspended lisence.

I would not say his hole crew is rice though. CJ has a nice car and I think it was Sara with the white Mish. I liked both of those cars. There were some cars in the crew that needed some work and did have a little rice. I would have given up my EP for the Trans Am that day when I saw that sweet black car.

Right now I do not agree with how this all got handeld I think Chris chould have done a lot better job of keeping these guys informed on what was going on. (example telling what went on right after getting out of jail or just have a friend e-mail them giving them a heads up) I do have to say that what Chris has said at points does not alway fallow right witch does worry me a little. Right now I am going to give Chris a chance to get this fixed before I judge him fully.

I am not part of that crew incase anyone is wondering. I just meet Chris on this board and he invited me to a few meets and I went. Just thought I would add this so you do not think I am being bias.

I did not say their hole cars were rice I just did not care for some things that they did that I kind of thought could fall in the rice area. The hood pins are something that I do not like and to me that is kind of rice I think. I am just not a big fan a hood pins and Neon. It has been a while since I have seen the cars and I remember there was some things that caught my eye but I can not remember. That is why I did not say you had a rice crew or anything like that.

As far as getting the hood or wheels from the repo company, well it just ain't gonna happen. I worked collections for a bank for seven years, and once we got a car we didn't let go of any of it, and that most specifically included aftermarket stuff, until we sold all of it. The laws vary from state to state, but in every state I did business in if it is bolted to the car, it is part of the car. You can try to see if they will sell them to you, but anything else is a bust.
