We measured the A2 cams yesterday.
Intake:
Primary - 176 deg @ .050" .282" lift
VTEC - 227 deg @ .050" .458" lift
Seconary - 186 deg @ .050" .263" lift
Exhaust:
Primary - 187 deg @ .050" .254" lift
VTEC - 218 deg @ .050" .397" lift
Seconday - 182 deg @ .050" .262" lift
*Note: all measurements are at the valve with lash.
For comparison here are the K24 cams that we measured.
Intake - 197 deg @ .050" .359" lift
Exhaust - 187 deg @ .050" .372" lift
I think I am going to send the K24 cams out to be reground and see what we can do. I am guessing that we can pick up about 10-15 whp with a decent grind. Which should put a well tuned car in the 165-170 whp range.
I will let you know.
Thanks,
