IF YOU GO LOOK AT www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/civic_type-r.asp - 30k LOOK UP THE 04 CIVIC TYPE-R THE MAN DRIVING IS ON THE LEFT SIDE. WHATS UP WITH THAT? ARE THE PICS BACKWARDS? OR ARE WE GETTING A GLIMPS OF THINGS TO COME? EVEN MY HONDA DEALER TOLD ME THEY ARE EXPECTING THE TYPE-R. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

the 2004 type r has all black on the seats, with RED inside the seats like where ours are grey, theirs are red

pretty much most countries are LHD. only japan and britian are predominately RHD.

SO PRETTY MUCH WE (THE U.S) WONT GET THE TYPE-R. INSTEAD THEY GIVE US THE TYPE-S RSX. SO WE ARE LEFT HOPIN AND DREAMIN THAT SOMEDAY WE WILL SAVE UP ENOUGH MONEY TO SWAP. there's a good map of which countries drive on the left (i.e. RHD); there's quite a bit more than just Japan and Britain.

That's mainly because the non-watered down versions (like the Supra and RX-7) didn't sell well in the US. Believe it or not, only a small percentage of US buyers would want cars like Silvias, STis, Evos, GT-Rs, etc. and an even smaller percent out of those actually has the money or are willing to buy them. It's too much of a loss for car manufacturers to import and legalize those cars when there isn't much of a market for them.
