I've got a "big red" 2 ton that only extends to 14", not enough to lift the rear of the car. I want to get the craftman aluminum jack but $200 no way, I think you at least need a 3 ton to get another 3.5" of lift. Let me know what works for you guys and price. Thanks

I think I have one of the "2 ton" jack's from AutoZone, or somewhere
similar. Works fine for me (especially now that the car is lowered),
but a cheap way to get an extra 2-3" is to just use a block of wood
between the jack and the car (which you might want to do, anyway).

Depending on what I'm doing, sometimes I'll just use the OEM jack
to jack a corner of the car up, as well. A little more of a hassle,
but it works...

Minimum saddle height: 3-1/2''
Maximum saddle height: 17-1/2''
Hydraulic lift: 14''
Handle overall length: 47-1/4''
Two piece knurled aluminum handle prevents slipping
Overall dimensions: 23.62'' L x 11.81''W x 6.1''H
Tool weight: 35.40 lbs.

ITEM 40105-6VGA

$139.99

This right here, rocks.

I needed something that went real low, for the 94 hatch EP race car.
Unfortunately, I still need to lift the car up by hand a bit, but for the price, and performance, this is very hard to beat.
Oh, it only takes a bout 6 pumps to hit full height.

Got mines from sears, Craftsman 3 ton jack for 80 bucks. Waited for it to be on sale for 99.99 with jack stands and other accessories. Signed up for a Sears card (get 10% off the first month's statement)then got a 10% off coupon card in the mail.

The jack is to high for the front. I need to use the stock jack on the side to lifted it alittle before using the 3 ton'er. A simple lift on the side from another person would do the job, but no one is there.

I bought one before winter but just recently I had to jack up the car but by my surprise my car was too low. I ended up returning it and am planning to buy a lowprofile one

I dont have a jack...but I do have some Rhino Ramps. You cant carry the ramps obviously in the car. I need me a good jack in case I get a flat somewhere on the road. The stock one juss aint cuttin it. Anyone know of a relatively light weight jack?

I have the same 3 ton craftsman as raiyo.

and for all of ya'll who say you need a low profile jack, keep a couple of scrap 2x4 up to 2x8 boards about a foot long around the garage, pull your tires up on them and your jack will slide right under your lowered ep;)

We got about 3 OEM Honda jacks laying around in the garage. Plus a 10 year old pos Craftsman. It might be old but it gets the job done. Another good thing to have around the garage is a mat. I'm using a old kindergarden sleeping mat insted of getting my backside dirty. Hey! It was FREE!

VERY FUNNY!! No i've kept it all these years. But you know what i'm talking about..right? Red on one side, blue on the other and it folds together 3 times.
FYI oldschool: I have not gradumated yet..I still need my play and nap time.
