By around 100MPH you would definately be in the rear view... but a 1/4mi is over around then anyways.... So who knows until you try?

So what's the trick?? I dyin to know....

That's just my crappy camera, i don't own a camcorder, so i'm lucky i can take any video at all...LOL...not bad for a $150 digital camera though...wish i knew how to add some background music or something at least...lol...

Mods = "AEM" CAI, ES motor mounts, Clutchmasters Stage III, & something else <cough>F.I.<cough> coming soon.

Where would he find a complete A2 swap for $1995?
Not everyone has my hookup...LOL.

He's building this roadster 100% from scratch.
I saw the drawings and it's gonna be SICK!
He doesn't race them, he shows them.
But at like 1500 lbs I'm sure the thing will haul ass with a mere 160HP!
He showed me some of his previous work and it was sick.
He built a 2/3rd scale Hummer and some other nasty shit.
Can't wait to see the pics when he's done.

whats with the gas... you're running on fumes there! I don't know if this is true but I heard that the engine goes in gas saving economy mode when it's low on fuel... coule this thing possibly not be at its potential?

That is completely false.
Everytime I go to the track I'm at 1/4 tank or less and my times are usually the same/better than most with similar mods.

FYI, in the video the light had just come on.
When the light comes on you still have over 3 gallons left = 90+ miles.
It's not smart to continually let your car run low on gas because you can suck up contaminants from the bottom of the tank, but that's not really such an issue with a new/low mileage car.

Comparing this video to my old one with the A3, I hit 20-90mph almost 2 seconds faster with the A2, which sounds about right to me.

I dont know if our car has a fuel filter, but if it does it should be changed every 80k miles because of this issue....can rob you of power if you let it go too long also.
