nice, I like how there mounts are made. alot of the metal is on ground level, making the bar to bend less. I still like CARB's rear strut more. to bad it cost close to 3 bills.

heheh, u wont be the first to have a mugen bar though. ;)

Yea, Secondary mount is really nice and solid.
Carbing rear strut bar was too expensive.
Raiyo, Post some pictures of mugen tie bar. I sent you pms while ago.

Appears to be almost Identical to the Mr. Alex bar.
They must be manufactured by the same company.
The Cusco design does seem to have a bit of an advantage, in the way the center bar mounts to the 2 ends(they're closer to the struts). There would be a little less flex in the blue pieces I would think.

How's the feel? Any noticeable difference in handling? A touch more oversteer or just a more solid overall feel?

Not trying to be a dick, just wanna correct your terms before you get any deeper. The correct term should be "less understeer" instead of "more oversteer." When people who has FWD cars hear that, they'll laugh. Don't want yah in the same shoes as I was.

So besides the bling factor and the 165 bucks you dropped....

ehhhhhhh notice any difference? I got a type s sway bar already....
think the combo with this would help in anyway or would I be better off in going with a neuspeed front strut bar?

I've been looking at the Mugen rear bar but don't know if it's worth it or not. Let us know what your driving impression is? Do you have a front strut brace as well? When I added a rear bar to my eg it really tightened up the rear, by causing less rattles and a little more precise handling.

The rear feels much more stable .Clearly a well designed piece and well worth the price. 1.75" thick.1/4" end plates. The bolts that hold the Cusco bar together are thicker than the bolts that hold the struts into the car.I do not have Front upper strut bar. Still researching which one would be better.Planning to get ctr 22mm rear sway bar.Es sway bar bushings.

So it looks like no interior cutting was needed, right? Does anyone know which bars need cutting and which don't?
