Where can I find the type R rims for the Si? And would 17" rims be too much for the Si? Would it slow the car?

If you do a search in the Suspension section, you will find many posts regarding the CTR wheels.

Just to let you know, the real CTR wheels have 5 lug holes, our cars have 4. Now, Honda does seem to have a 4 lug replica of the CTR wheel, but in 15 or 16". Plus, given that Honda sells them, they are probably way overpriced.

As for 17" wheels adding weight to a car, well this depends on the wheel you get. Some wheels are lighter then others and so on...................................... Again do a search in this section, or simply read some of the threads. We have tons of info regarding both your questions.

Actually the "Honda Factory Performance" wheels are 17" and they look just like the type-r ones. The only catch is you have to buy them with the car, they're not available a la carte.

Interesting, the Civic coupe with the Performance Package has the CTR look alike wheels but they are 16"ers.
