Protect Carbon Fiber

i was wondering if anyone knows a way to protect carbon fiber? i wanna get a c/f hood and wing but dont want the cali sun to ruin or discolor it. i used to live in new jersey and had a c/f hood on my talon, and after a while it kind of changed color a little bit, like a yellowish tint on the clear coat, and i dont want that to happen to this car, any suggestions?
