best tire size for 16s

Im trying to decide on what tire size to get for my 16inch RGs...
i was thinking 205/50 16 BUT i was talking to one of my friends and he was telling me to go with the 205/45 16. All around which one would suit our PRECIOUS EP better? ride wise, look wise, performance wise????

205/45/16 is almost an inch smaller in diameter than stock, too much imo. I think 215/50/16 is the ideal size but there isn't a very big selection. I'm going with a 205/50/16, that's only about 1/8" smaller diameter than stock.

yes i also agree with 50 series for 16inch wheels. would give him a recomended tire width if i knew a bit more about the rims. if you are reffering to advan rgs in 16 then i believe they are 16x7 with a 42 or 44 offset. if this is the case i would agree with seever and try to get a good 215-50-16 tire.

thanx for the help guys! I was thinking about going with some yoko AVS or NEO-Gens BUT i was feeling kinda spendy too and thinkin about getting s-03 or the new re750 (potenzas). Which one would be better for SEATTLE weather = RAIN RAIN RAIN??? I drive alot so looking for some performance and good traction and what not, if that makes any sense?
