Maybe selling midpipes for our car

I found a shop that does mandrel bends and stainless. I will be going in next sunday most likly. Im going to find out the price, he said shouldn't be more than 200. I know many would be interested and i would love to do everyone a favor. I will let you guys know how it goes. I havnt met them yet either but they sound legit on the phone. Sorry for posting this now when i didnt do it yet but im excited.

$200 is a little pricey, but if they include a stainless resonator, the price isn't bad. I'd be interested in one if they are made correctly (doesn't hang too low or too high).

Well i hope its not 200, but thats the highest i will go. People payed over 300 for a pipe because its jdm. I dont think 200 is that bad. Ill let you know.

stainless steel midpipes alredy start at 150 dollars guys, a regular aluminum one that you can get at a muffler shop is 85 because it is cheap material... 200 for a MANDRAL bent pipe that is Stainless steel is pretty damn good.

It's a honda...it's ment to run like a champ with cheap parts.

You can get really drunk for 200 bucks

Point is...if you got 200 bucks to spend on a mid pipe FOR A HONDA...you got too much bloody money.

Back on topic, if they're doing mandrel bends, please try to get them to use 2" piping. 2.25" is good for crush-bent, but too large if mandrel bending.

I was thinking 2 inch. I spoke with joe (Jsir) alittle while back and thats what he said. I'm also going to get a resenator with it. I'll have all the details after i do this. i was just excited yesterday after talking to this guy on the phone. I dont want to pay 200 bucks. i was just saying that it maybe that much.

Ok im pretty pissed! Just went down to the shop and spoke with the guys that said they could do my midpipe. He asked me how many people would i be buying for and i told him right now just a few. He said that he cant do just a few he has to order the metal basically for 100 :eek:. So i asked him how much it would be. He said ruffly 100 bucks a pipe. I said wow thats a good price but noway i can get 100 people. I know i cant. But all well sorry guys. Wish this could have worked.

okay it really doesnt cost much for someone to make a midpipe section.

even with flanges included, no resonator crush bend shouldnt be more than 80$ ESPECIALLY if this muffler guy knows hell be making more.

theres like 20$ worth of metal in a midpipe. the rest is labor
