it's pretty decently modified (i/h/e, some other jdm stuff) and well taken care of.. has about 25000 miles on it.. what do you think the price would be around? thanks.

25,000 on an 03??? good lord. yeah i'd say around $12,500-$13,000. thats a lot of miles. and some places don't like taking cars in with mods.

RX-7? or RX-8?

If the 7, that thing will not survive after 100,000 miles. Not built for it.

You sure? You know you want to keep her :D You know if the RX-8 is successful, then they will make a new 7 :)

Check www.edmunds.com and www.kbb.com and compare the prices. They will vary slightly, but I wouldn't guess your value is as low as what is being quoted here.

Yeah if the 8's sell well enough. It will be like 300 lbs lighter, and they will design the motor to produce more usable power. It will not seat four full size adults :D I would get that.

While the Si has taken a huge hit in value off the lot, I think it's value will hold over time.

It will hold better if Honda does not make an 05 EP, and will hold better if they bring the Type-R over.......now this makes sense, let me explain.

If the type R comes over, I think the EP will become more Valuable because the Type-R's will not go off the lot for cheap, nor will they sell cheap after sale, and the fact that you could swap the suddenly more available K20A2 into them would make them very prized indeed.

So lets say the Type-R comes out in 05 or 06...

You could sell your EP for about 11K a few years from now, most likely, because people are going to want something they can swap a K20A2 in directly for cheaper than buying a Type-R.....and we have that.

Hold on to your EP, I think it will hold what value it has left.

I just priced mine (not selling, just curious) and it was 12.6K, which
is exactly what the other two guys guessed at.

Anyway, Bushido, 9 times out of 10 you are better off selling your
modded parts and returning it to stock, unless you find someone who's
willing to take on a car that's had some stuff done to it.
