To those of you with the S2000 push start button

I need to know a couple of things about it since I will be installing it here rather shortly. Did you have to bi-pass the immobilizer? Is 26 gauge wire sufficient coming out of the three prongs from the S2000 button? And any installation tips that you could give me for help. By the way YES I DID A SEARCH...asking some new questions.

No you do not need to bypass the immobilizer. That might be a little thin, id go with the biggest gauge wire you can, I believe the current is rated at 30 amps, which is why a relay is recommended.

Did you run a relay fsugatorbait??? 30 amp is what gauge size of wire?

I ran 8 guage or 12 gauge wire. I used a Relay:D

yeah I have a relay, not sure if you caught the DIY I did in the custom forum, it could answer some of your questions if you didnt. I used 18 gauge wire. HTH.

I really dont know what type i used..I used thin wire. I will look at the DIY;)

One more question. Where did you run the power wire and ground from the S2000 button to power the light inside the engine start switch.

I tapped the wires from the accessory outlet.
