k20a2 swap with toda package, or maybe just a a2 head swap. if going on stock engine, id say I/H/E, hondata, pulley, and wait to see what skunk 2 cams will do for our car.

the head and ecu swap sounds like your best option... you can spend a couple g's on quality bolt-ons but if you did that with the head, you'd feel more gains... unless you go nos or turbo... a real intake will cost about $150, a quality header will run at least $350, a nice exhaust system starts at $700, cams will be about $1300, and hondata is $550... the total is already up there, and you still dont have true ivtec... the head is a bigger step up and i think you'd enjoy that way more than just i/h/e... it gives you more to play with. and plus, if you're gonna be spending any kind of money on your car, you'd be gettin the bolt-ons eventually, anyways... so spend the money on swap if you have it and thinkin bout spending it, and worry bout the bolt ons later...

All motor = big bucks! That's all there is to it. If you want the power of a boosted car my the way of all motor, then you better have deep pockets. The relitively least expensive way would be a A2 head swap with work done to it. Also, matching intake, tb and a good set of cams.

complicated and expensive is the only road that you can take for N/A power. If it was cheap and easy everyone would have a 300whp grocery getter. How much power are you looking for?

Simple (to the mechanically inclinded) :D and Cheap, N2O is best bang for the buck! Less than $700 for basic setup and less than $1100 for a safer setup.

I don't know about your area, but it used to cost me $35 to fill a 10lbs bottle. I only used a bottle 2-4 weeks, unless you're N2O happy and love to purge and use it everyday. Then it would get expensive fast.

Geez, 35 bucks to fill up a bottle? I used to pay $45-50 depending how empty it was. That was 3 years ago. The first summer I had the bottle I spent $800 on refills. After you figure the cost in for the nitrous kit and how much I spent on refills, I could have had a turbo. And so I did with my EX. Now, next month the Si will be turbocharged.

Nitrous is cheap fun...for a while. Keep your usage low and your wallet will be thicker.
