the bumper won't fit without modification. this means that the metal reinforcements behind the bumper must be modified. I am not sure how extensively but a guy with the kit on told me so.

thats right, that metal part behind probably needs to be cut or shaved for the jdm bumper to fit

This is because we have stricter crash requirements and the reinforcements behind our bumpers are HUGE and heavy.

Not like they are in Europe and Japan.

i would like to get this kit, because afterall i got jacked from buying the erebuni kit.. i dunno though.. you guys might want to do a little more research before purchasing this kit.. i got exact replicia of the ctr kit from erebuni and it doesn't fit at all.. maybe like you guys said, by modifying the reinforcement part might work but i suggest to research this kit a bit more.. keep us updated though if any of you guys got this kit to fit..

Guys we need to realize that these two car even though they look similar, they are very different. Here in the States/Canada, the crash test are different, different rating etc etc, so there for the car are very different, drive train, suspension, body etc. Give it time and we will get stuff for the car, but you guys have got to be patient.

This is sooo true RESEARCH, RESEARCH, and more RESEARCH is the only way to find out what if any mods will be required to make the Type R bodykit fit.
