This link is to a race aluminum radiator for our car. 30% thicker than stock. $549.95. I replaced my radiator 6 months ago cause it cracked and wouldnt hold fluid. I paid a little over 300.00 for the stock one from honda, wish this would of been around then. I would have ponied up the exta money for it. I bet our cars would produce alote more power with this extra cooling capacity seeing how sluggish the si is when the weather's hot.

Let me know.

Please PM me for special EPhatch.com pricing.

Our Normal price is $535.50 and $435.50 if you don't want the Spal fans. We highly recommend the fans.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the stock radiator for the stock motor is more than adequate. Even in the hottest weather sitting in traffic with A/C on I could never get the needle to move past the 1/4 way up. In the year that I have owned the Si, I have never seen the temp reaching the middle. I think the sluggishness, that you reffer to in hot weather is due to high air temperature and probably high moisture conent in the air (humidity).

That radiator is probably good for a forced induction engine that produces much more heat, although I doubt that stock radiator would't be able to handle mild boost (6-8 psi), and an intercooler would probably give you more performance than a radiator.

I could be totally wrong though.

So would this really add any horses? I thought something like this would add life to the motor rather than power. Kind of like an oil cooler kit.

This isn't a mod you buy for the power increase. And it isn't neccessary unless you're running forced induction, even then it's just an added precaution. It is possible though, that in some applications you can increase power by keeping your engine cooler.
