I right now have allstate but I am not liking them because even though I am getting older and my record is clean my insurance keeps on going up every 6 month when I renew. With these rising prices I am thinking of going over to someone else. I just have no idea who to go with. I am thinking State Farm, Progressive, Geico, County Companys. or AAA. Just wondering who do you guys find that is good for coverage? I am 24 and single.

I dont know if switching insurance would make a difference.. everybody's insurance is going up across the board. Im with Progressive and it went up also. It has nothing to do with the cars actually.

I'm with esurance.com. It's an insurance company over the internet. I just renewed my 6-month policy and it went from $120 a month to $87 a month. I'm very pleased. Full coverage too :D

I paid about $90 a month for my old car, a '99 Protege LX 5-speed. I was a bit surprised to have it go up to about $125/month when I bought the Si. But I just turned 25 in January, and it dropped down to around $85, so I'm happy. I haven't had any tickets for a few years.

This is with State Farm in SE Georgia. I have no complaints about State Farm whatsoever. I had a semi cut me off last March and ended up hitting a guard rail and needing a new fender. I stopped 'cause I thought I'd broken something, but he kept going and I couldn't get any info on him.

State Farm said that since I'd been otherwise accident-free, they'd pay for the repairs--I'd just have to pay the deductible--and my rates wouldn't go up. Awesome.

Oh, and one more thing. I always thought that State Farm was a bit high, so I got all the local places and Progressive to give me quotes. None of 'em could come close, and even admitted so.

State Farm is also nice because when you have to get in touch with them, you just go into their office and talk to your agent, rather than calling a 1-800 number and talking to some account rep who doesn't even know you.
