im debating on either the rev hard turbo kit on the A3 or do the A2 and 6 spd. Are there any qualified shops in florida that can do this and not for an arm and a leg...?

I don't know $500-$1000 depending on how fast you want it done.;)

EDIT: that is just LABOR!

Yea, around that price range if you want cheap. The cheapest would be the head swap and ECU but keeping your 5spd.

where are you at in florida and how much would the head and ecu be and the install?

Head and ECU probably $300-$500 not including the computer flash at dealership.

Not trying to answer for bio here, but I think he's done two
swaps IIRC. Maybe just one...

Anyway, if you're going A2, any reason why you want the RSX 6spd?
Just b/c it would come with it? Just curious (most say on a road/autoX
course, it would be better to keep the 5spd).

A couple guys have finagled (Adam, you bastard! ;)) a complete swap
for as little as under $2K. Others have paid almost that much for
just the head swap. I think Hondata can reflash your ECU for you, but
not if you want the 6pd - that requires the RSX-S ECU. Double check
that by going to hondata.com...

Thanks Andy :D

Yes, I done a swap and many other things.

click here for some info (http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8133)

You can use the A3 ECU reflashed by Hondata for head setup.
5sp tranny can be reused, but many have slower times and mph in the 1/4 with A2 w/ 5sp tranny.
6sp tranny is best for A or A2 setup.
A2 ECU then flash Hondata is what I used to use, now I'm using the JDM ECU (smoother vtech change, no power dip, and no CEL ;) )

Cape Coral/ Fort Myers area.

can the EP3 harness be used on the RSX-S ECU? Some places say you need the harnesses, but some places don't mention anything about needing the RSX-S harness.

I've heard the same thing. I guess beacause of the Pin Out configuration, ground wires at different points to the ECU. I'll have to check my manuals.

I have the manuals, the pinouts seem to be very similar. I also wonder if you can run the type-S controller in the EP without a problem.
