Thought that subject line would attract attention...

I think I've seen pictures of Si's with a cigarette lighter in the spot to the right of the shifter, opposite the hazard button(perhaps this is stock across The Pond?). Another power outlet would be useful.

I know some put an s2000 "start" button there. What other uses have you guys seen for this spot?

i had asked my salesman about this spot.... he told me it is for the fog lights button.. i doubt anyone bought that option when we can do it ourselves

I dunno about yours, but mine shoots missiles out of the front of the car when I flip that cover and press the hidden button...

Mine just hits my hydraulic switch and my car bounces up in the air!

Yep! I got that option but I traded it in for a blinker fluid meter.

On the serious note... I was going to put the shifter light there but kinda made no sense for the passenger to see the light better than me.

Installed Volt gauge and Autometer angle cup.
Took out cig plug and installed s2000 start button.
Relocating Cig plug soon..

my thought was similar to yours... but i wanted to move the hazard button over to the right, and shiftlite on the left

I want to see this. I want to do a input jack in my car so that on a road trip I can hook up my laptop with all the Mp3's instead of loading in CD after CD.

Its not that difficult to do, the plan is to drill a hole and hot glue the female input jack into the silver blank. Right now i just have the wire running outta the hole, when the warmer weather hits i'll get around to doing it and post some pics.
