I just wanted to say how much I like the look of a flat black muffler these days. Stainless steel can's are just played out, every cavalier and focus has some piece o' shit ss muffler bolted on it. I love the subtlety of our stock muffler. I can't wait for my T1R b pipe combo. It really fits the back of the si perfectly, my .02

The stock muffler is definatly a good piece...don't see why anyone would want to get rid of it. Flows good and it fits the EP perfectly.

If I was to do anything to my exhaust system it would be a new midpipe and resonator.

So what do we do in 5 years when our OEM muffler goes and we want another OEM muffer? Do we have to buy it from the dealer only?

The stock muffler is cool enough but I find it is so big and heavy. I have the Spoon now and I really love it. The finish is awesome, it is much lighter, and I love the ballsy sound it makes!!:D

Also all look alike stock muffler shit is newb!!!!!!!!!!! Keep the stock and change out the midpipe and get a header. I was looking at my header/downpipe today, adn I was wondering why everyone changes it ot???? Is it because people don't want a cat on their car or do they come witha high flow cat???? I actually think the stock downpipe is actually a good part stock. Anyways I am waiting for my DC header to come in, just sold my AEM CAI and got the V2 instead. Oh yeah, I have my stock mid-pipe and muffler hangong in my room in the corner that way I get to look at the stock tailpipe that I love so much. BTW H K S has a nice tone to it, wonder how it would sound with no resonator???? Peace!!!!!!!!!!;)

I am going to go with the Neuspeed exhaust since it does look close to stock and will give that nice exhaust tone with a little more HP.

Neuspeed is nice... but I am not a fan of having a big chrome thing hanging off my ass. I'd paint it black or something - but thats just me *not a chrome lover*

Edit* I know its not chrome or stainless - but its shiny, same idea though

I have the stock exhaust from my 94 Civic Ex Coupe on the ground outside of my house, want it?. I bought a Stromung for it, and never got rid of the stock piece.

If Stromung (http://www.m3motorwerks.com/products/image.php?image=http://www.m3motorwerks.com/images/fullsize/Stromung-exhaust_fs.jpg&name=Stromung+Exhaust+System+-+E36) ever makes exhaust for the EP I'd be all over it. Until then stock pipes are good.

The one I posted in stainless. The Titanium one retails for $1600.00.

Hehe I just happen to know the owner of Stromung. Maybe I can convince him to make one.
