www.hondata.com should answer all your questions. If not, look up at the top of the page, click search, and type "hondata." There are tons to threads about it here. But in a nutshell, hondata re-maps your fuel and timing to be optimized for a CAI and increases the rev-limit to 7700rpm.

i was told that he ecu itself is about 500. Then its more money so you can tune it...?everytime you get a new mod would you have to dyno the car and tune it again? and would i have to tune it specifically to my setup i/h/e apex-i v-afc2 Once i get it.

If i jus insall hondata itself w/out tuning it, i would jus be able to redline at 7700 right?

i know this subject my be played out but im ready to buy it so,
Thanks for the info

As of now there is only ONE version of the flash that is not programmable; doesnt matter what mods you have.

It doesn't matter what mods you have, the ECU from Hondata is the same. Tuned for a cold air intake, but works extemely well with I/H/E. Once you send you ECU to Hondata that is it, there is no tuning afterwards. Its all or nothing. And it is $600 for the re-flash.

If you want a ECU that you can tune, you can send your ECU to Hondata and for $900 you can re-tune it anytime with a laptop.

Hmm 600-900 well, im def. going all motor so i think ill save up for a rsx-s head, a nice set of Cams and then throw the hondata ecu in.

ill be ok w/ i/h/e vafc 2 for a while untill i can save up some real money.

Thanx for the help guys.
