This car is making 285whp/185ft-lbs of tq @ 8500rpm with a hondata program.
Had a meeting with Doug at Hondata and he was playing with this when I got there, enjoy.

I saw a video of that racing a stock Lotus Exige...that thing is WICKED! Smoked the stocker like it was nothing. And redornin22, I don't think the stock Exige come with the Celica motors, they come with a Rover K motor.

The new Elise gets the Toyota motor, the Exige won't be coming to the US. It doesn't have a Honda motor stock. Also, the Toyota motor has more power the most Elises in the UK, and the same as the higher end Elises, so it may not be the motor you want, but it will still be FAST!

My understanding is that the Lotus Elise we're getting has a 190 hp Toyota engine. It's supposed to weight under a ton too. I think they're on sale soon and I want one. I think it would look nice next to my EP in the garage. Oh, would anyone like to donate to my Get This Poor Bastard A Lotus Elise Fund?

No it doesnt come with a GTS, it has the same 170bhp engine as the 340R with option to upgrade to 190bhp.
