If anyone here paid to get their lowering springs installed by a shop, how much did you pay? I've been offered $250, $240, and $230 by several different places, which all included alignment.

Thanks for your time.

I didn't pay, but going rate around here is just by hour.
Most places will say 2-4 hours worth of time, anywhere from
$60-$100 an hour.

Not worth it IMO, replacing yourself isn't *that* bad (the coat
hanger to keep the axle from popping out OWNZ me) and then you
can go get an alignment for $60 or whatever.

Might find some local ephatchers' to help you out.

$230 doesnt sound too bad, its about $77 an hour for a 3 hour job, plus an alignment that ususally run $60 or so. Definately reasonable.

That price seems reasonable but get some help from local member.

I'm another DIY guy. It's not all that hard. If i had to pay to get it done, anything over $200 is high-way robbery.

eh... i wouldnt pay any more than $100 to get this done... jus gotta look in the right places... anything more is like a shop chargin you $100 to install an exhaust for you or even $45 for just an oil change... just aint worth it... i'd rather do it myself...

changing the springs is like getting your wisdom teeth removed. You think it will be complicated and painful, but after it is all done you are happy you did it and see that the install wasn't bad after all.
